All about Face SHIELDS

Face shields are personal protective equipment devices that are used by many health care and retail workers during COVID-19 pandemic. Face shields offer effective protection from infectious airborne particles and droplets and often used in conjunction with other protective equipment such as mask, goggle, and cap. Therefore, it is classified as adjunctive personal protective equipment.

It is important to consider the following points when using face shields:

1. Snug/tightly fitting

Face shields must fit snugly around the head without any gaps between forehead and shield. Our face shields come with a sponge layer to prevent slipping of the shields and to improve comfort. Secured with an elastic strap they are comfortable and reliable.

2. Reusable

Our face shields are reusable. They can easily be cleaned by disinfectant sprays or disinfectant wipes.

3. Quality of Material for face shield

Made of a thick OHP of 150–200 micron, these face shields are ideal for keeping sterile and will avoid crimping with repeated use.

4. Methods of Handling
  • Never touch the front side of face shield
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub
  • Wear gloves and remove face shields from behind. This will ensure that the elastic strap will continue to be germ-free.

5. Methods of Disinfecting
  • Clean with soap, water and plastic-safe disinfectant.
